Photography is not just the art of reproduction and representation. There are many techniques open to the photographer, one of the most important being framing; what is shown and what has been left out. Focusing, depth of field, light effects, zoom and close-ups are used to produce an image from light gathered at the original scene. I enjoy using all of these to create a final, striking image.
